Doris Edem Agbevivi is an emerging leader in the field of clean energy and sustainable development. With over seven years of experience as an energy analyst, her expertise in mainstreaming sustainable energy initiatives and promoting climate-conscious transport solutions has had a significant impact, both in Ghana and internationally.
A central focus on Doris’s work is her role as the coordinator of the Drive Electric Initiative in Ghana, an e-mobility project under the Energy Commission aimed at promoting the use of electric vehicles and green energy.
She leveraged her leadership in organizing Ghana’s first e-mobility conference in 2021, as well as its first public charging forum in 2022 as part of initiatives toward a more sustainable future for the country. Doris’ work with stakeholders has influenced national policies and strengthened partnerships within the energy sector.
In addition to her national work, Doris has represented Ghana on global platforms, speaking at high-profile events such as the World Health Organization’s Air Pollution and Health Conference and the United Nations High-Level Political Forum.
Doris is an alumna of the University of Aberdeen, where she studied under a Merit Scholarship. She is not just an analyst but a passionate advocate for cleaner energy.
